The old xanthi town has so much heritage, from the moment you walk in the old xanthi area you know there is a hidden gem, l spent 18 days touring xanthi and the township is amazing.

Not as much historical stuff as I was expecting but the town is pleasant enough and has plenty of shops, restaurants and cafes.

Old meeting new in the old part of Xanthi. The feel of the town was disturbed by all cars that was parked in all the narrow streets. Some houses was very well restored.
