If the least interested in history visit Hammershus. If not interested in history visit for the lovely view from top of the hill (they knew how to best place their fortresses in the past).

Took at stroll by the seaside until we reached the ruin. Impressive castle ruin. The reason why it's missing some of it's stones in the structure, was because the peasants was in need of stone, when they drove off the rich folks :-)

This ruin is a free attraction in a stunning location on the top of a cliff. Whilst we were there a school were carrying out a history lesson with children dressed in costume. There are lovely walks from here along the coast to Vang where...More

A free experience with no commercial circus surrounding it. Not much of a ruin/castle person, but this was impressive and cool.

This is one to see especially if you like to take pictures! Not only are the ruins wort a lot of snaps but so is the view of the sea a landscape in general. The facilities are not the best but on a sunny day...More

You can feel the historical part of Bornholm. Nice scenery around the castle. You can see full of the sea, coast line and prairie here. Wonderful.
