The zoo is located in the middle of Odense. It is s nice place for the whole family. The zoo has a lot of different animals in big enclosures. There is a new playground and a cable swing which both are loved by the children....More

Would not say its the best zoo in europe...the enclosure for the zebras and giraffes is pathetic... given how much roaming these animals do in the wild...this zoo offers them a shoe box. There are lots of animals that look well kept.

The zoo is a really nice place also for the animals. They have good "natural" conditions and you can observe them in a close to natural condition.

We live about 10 minutes from this Zoo so we bought the year passes and can afford to go just for the playgrounds, which are very good. The pacing of this zoo is just right. It can handle an extremely large volume of visitors, as...More

Having won an award for excellence in Europe, i expected more. It has a cliche collection of animals found in every zoo and they no longer appeal. I want to see animals unique to the area or, at least, unusual specimens. It didn't disappoint completely....More
