Welcome to the Tinderbox. The big Fairytale Land is right now build up around The Little Mermaid. Here you can enter into a magic world at the bottom of the sea, where you can visit the Sea King's castle and sit in his throne or have tea in the mermaids' parlor. You can also explore the Prince's sunken ship or even brew a wicked potion in the Sea Witch's den. In our Magic Wardrobe you will find costumes for children, as well as for the adults. We look forward to welcoming you to the Tinderbox.

Whether you're 2 or 92, all that's required is some imagination to create some fun. Granted, this place is best suited for kids, but grown-ups can have fun too. It's one giant dress-up, make-believe theatre. Downstairs kids can pretend to be characters from Andersen's beloved...More

A great place for young kids. Plenty of costumes to put on, rooms with different themes and space to run around. My kids loved getting their face painted and painting in the brilliant arts and crafts workshop. Highly recommended as a 3-4 hours activity.

Ideally aimed at under 11's there is opportunity to enjoy Hans Christian Andersen's stories (the one they were focussing on during my visit was 'The Steadfast Tin Soldier') and then role play the story as well as adapt it and create your own. There's a...More
