Bad coffee in a Bohemian atmosphere.

The room of the Nimb Bar is outstanding: very large, stylish and airy. It seduced me from the first glimpse. However, I went there just for a coffee break, so I asked for a flat... read more

We recently got married in Copenhagen City Hall and decided to book at Nimb Bar for our post ceremony drinks. Reserving the space (for 11 people) was easy and convenient, and Nimb honored our request for the fireplace. Both my husband and I, plus our guests were very happy with the ambiance of the venue, as well as the food... More

The room of the Nimb Bar is outstanding: very large, stylish and airy. It seduced me from the first glimpse. However, I went there just for a coffee break, so I asked for a flat white and a marshmallow. To my huge surprise the waiter didn't know what a "flat white" is, so I tried to repeat and explain, but... More

Normally I would rate my visits to Nimb, which I frequent on business in Copenhagen, between four and five stars depending on how well they are executed. This time, for an early lunch, the bar was not accepting more guests as they were busy cleaning after en event, the small bar at the brasserie had their bartender on a break... More

Definitely check out Nimb Bar while visiting Tivoli. Great ambience and excellent drinks. The bar food, including olives, sausages and almonds, were very good. Friendly server (from California originally) was attentive and knowledgeable. Highly recommend stopping by for drinks as a nice reprieve.

We were told to check out the bar at the Nimb hotel while exploring Tivoli and I'm so glad we did! This bar feels like something out of the 1920s with high end cocktails to match. I loved the decor though I believe this bar is possibly more enjoyable during the dark winter as there is not much natural light... More

Beautiful room on first floor. Delicious afternoon tea like you are in London. Not very comfortable seating, and strange lightning but general fine experience

Staying in Inner Vesterbro

Neighbourhood Profile
Inner Vesterbro
This neighbourhood is home to Tivoli Gardens, a world famous amusement park and beautiful garden always worth a visit. Just west of Tivoli, you’ll find Copenhagen Central Station, from where you can reach just about every part of Denmark within 5 or 6 hours, or you can reach Copenhagen Airport in less than 15 minutes. Next to the Central Station, you’re in the middle of “old” Vesterbro, where several cultures and hundreds of languages are spoken in an area not more than one square mile. This neighbourhood is considered one of the most trendy places to live in and to visit in Copenhagen. For a real treat, visit Kødbyen ("meat town"), home to several restaurants, cafés and nightclubs, all within a short walk of each other.
