I believe this is the largest Church in Scandinavia. The structure looks gigantic and is one of the iconic buildings in Copenhagen. You can see it while doing a walking tour (preferably) or catch a glimpse of it on the boat cruise.

What a beautiful church, the outside is nice but the décor inside is fantastic. The paintings round the dome are amazing, the Altar is stunning, you don't have to be religious to enjoy the peace, quiet and décor in churches.

We stumbled across Frederik's Church a short walk away from The Little Mermaid. It's really spectacular and is known as The Marble Church thanks to it's green marbled effect design with gold detailing. It's an absolute must to photograph and I really wish i'd known...More

If you have time, stop by this church right near Amalienborg Castle. Beautiful inside and out. Hours are limited so be sure to check them on line or at the door.

From the outside you will definitely say wow - it is very impressive, grand and elegant. Inside it is still the above. Well worth a look at.

This is one of the most beautiful churches I have ever seen. The admission is free (a plus) and it is right next to Amalienborg Palace. If you make it on a weekend, make sure that you go up into the tower. They only do...More

Centrally located, this is an incredible church for its structure, interior design and décor. It is a functional church therefore modest attire is recommended

The Marble Church is pretty spectacular in person. The exterior and interior are richly ornate. You can go inside the church and pray or just admire the architecture but do be quiet and put your cellphones on silent.

Inspired on the Vatican Saint Peter, this church is really impressive, though not as big. You see the tower almost anywhere when travelling around the city centre. You won't be disappointed when you walk in.
