Walked past and thought it looked beautiful. Went inside and sat down. What a beautiful and peaceful place. Ornate with a beautiful ceiling. The lights were turned down and large candelabras were lit and cast a magic light. A place to sit and lower your...More

Our tour guide informed us the design for the original building was much taller and larger in size, hence the dome appears unproprtionately large for the building. Nonetheless, it's a stunning building on the outside and inside. The dome is spectacular and the interior roof...More

Copenhagen is full of stunning churches, and this is no exception. It's imposing from the outside, and then you walk in and are met by this huge dome. It was dark outside, and the light rebounding of this great white interior was dazzling. The dome...More

We popped into the Marble Church at about 5pm in a Sunday afternoon to admire the beautiful dome and ceiling painting. The church though with an ornate altar and organ is simple and focuses primarily on worship without all the confusing and sometimes conflicting ephemera...More

Beautiful building, had a look inside, its free. The dome itself is very impressive and beautifully decorated.

This church is very sedate, but beautiful. The dome is huge, it spans the entire nave of the church. The nave itself does not have a lot of decoration, except paintings high up in the dome. Beautiful is its elegance of design.

It is a “small” church, but it is nice inside. The entry is free and you have to be in silence when you are in.

blend of charming old buildings and bold new
architecture, broad avenues and tiny streets as well
as picturesque canals and a modern harbor. The inner
city is home to the Royal Danish Theatre, which
consists of three buildings, two of which are new and
situated on the harbor front. The streets, squares and
venues of the inner city and its surrounding
