What a great introduction to Copenhagen! Based on Rick Steve’s recommendation, we took Richard Karpen’s delightful walking tour of Copenhagen on our first morning there in June 2018. Richard was entertaining, informative and refreshingly opinionated and we thoroughly enjoyed our 1.5 hours with him. Our...More

As recommended in Rick Steve's tour guide, we took Richard Karpen's 1.5 - 2 hr walking tour of Copenhagen. It was one of the best guided tours we've ever taken and we highly recommend it for everyone (in English). Dressed up as Hans Christian Anderson,...More

This was a wonderful way to be introduced to Copenhagen. Great to learn about the place and people ( and a restaurant suggestion). Booked it based on a Rick Steves recommendation. Both Quirky and down to earth. Exceeds expectations!

I enjoyed re-capping Hans Christian Andersen and some of his books. It was frustrating to stand and listen to some of the stories; more seating would be good. The exhibition was basic and so much more could be done. He did an amazing job writing...More

We joined Richard's regularly scheduled 9:30 tour on the suggestion of Rick Steves Denmark travel guide. There were only four of us, so we had plenty of time to ask questions and learn even more from this enthusiastic and knowledgeable guide. He clearly loves Copenhagen...More

The charge was $20. We ended at the round tower. Not sure he ends all tours the same place. I would ask at the beginning. It seemed he customized it for the groups interests.
