We didn't actually visit the Stock Exchange building, but simply admired this building from a little distance away (we ended up walking right beside it)! The architecture is interesting and the spire reaches high into the sky. The spiral shape of the spire is is...More

We took a walk to this part of central Copenhagen late on cool, grey summer's afternoon, primarily to see the Christiansborg Palace. This neighbourhood of Copenhagen is home to a number of impressive public buildings. Foremost among them is the Stock Exchange building which is...More

Opened in 1625, it shares the same architectural characteristics and flavor of Aalborg's Jans Bangs house (and any other similarly aged structure, of which there are several); the curves and curliques absolutely scream Dutch Renaissance. The structure is not open to the public but is...More

The Stock Exchange building draws the eye from quite some way away because of the intricate spire. It's not open to the public, but we learnt about it on a canal tour.

No access inside the building but you can have a good picture around it and a good view through the river passing by it.

It's unfortunate that there doesn't seem to be access inside and to the tower for tourists but it's still an interesting and beautiful building. We enjoyed walking around and up close to it.

You can't get in as it is a privately owned working building, but you can enjoy the outside and also sneek a look through some of the windows at Street level to see some of the amazing tile work inside!

This old building of trade from 1625, is located on the same island as the Christiansborg Palace. This Stock Exchange is one red brick edifice, built in the Dutch Renaissance style. It is made up of one elongated part of building and a very nice...More

This is the heart of old town Copenhagen, with its
blend of charming old buildings and bold new
architecture, broad avenues and tiny streets as well
as picturesque canals and a modern harbor. The inner
city is home to the Royal Danish Theatre, which
consists of three buildings, two of which are new and
situated on the harbor front. The streets, squares and
venues of the inner city and its surrounding
