Visited with my family. As others have said, the restaurant/ cafe is overpriced and quite limited in what they sell. The coffee is lovely though. Have to say the exhibit 'the executioner' is quite chilling.

This place combines Danish and international art, classic and contemporary. Great mixture of exhibitions, although we did mainly stick to modern art. The building itself is beautiful with lovely gardens behind. Just beware of the overpriced (even by Copenhagen standards) cafe. Great place to visit...More

Very interesting gallery. Had quite a few contemporary pieces but a large range of historic artworks. It's right on the Bus 26 route which makes visiting easy.

Well worth a visit, even if you're not particularly interested in art. The gallery has a good mix of art from a variety of styles. We don't really enjoy modern art, but the older pieces were well worth a look. The gift shop here is...More

A must see in Copenhagen. Beautiful permanent exhibitions with some good others from classical art. Take your time to visit all the museum venues. Not so crowded (we visited it on Jan the 2nd afternoon)

I am not a real art fan but visited and was interested in several of the exhibitions which were mainly focussed on specific periods. Had a problem with their locker system where bags are required to be placed but eventually got the bag out after...More

Not the biggest gallery in the world but full of quality. We loved it. Apart from the usual suspects we saw many works by artists new to us which was most rewarding. If you are into art you'll love this.
