Nice theatre in the heart of the city. Work in progress in the square just in front, but fortunately you can still take a look at this piece of history of the country.

Me and my friend bought last minute tickets for the opera "The wedding of Figaro". And wow! It was amazing! Both the architecture, view from the balcony, the salon, the opera it self, the very well arranged pre ordered drinks during the pause, the atmosphere,...More

There are tours (in Danish) of the Royal Theatre, but the best way to see it is with tickets to the opera or the ballet. Opera is not my thing, but Royal Danish Ballet is an *excellent* company for ballet. They are probably the only...More

We have been to many theatrical performances around the world, yet I have come to deeply appreciate and love the Danish Royal Theater (group). They have made art accessible to all by breaking down barriers with much needed modern updates to classical stories. We took...More

Attended the Nutcracker here, which was excellent. The venue itself is beautiful and perfect for the ballet. Only problem was finding a drink other than over priced Champagne at the interval.

But the mise-en-scène was massively amateurish, poor quality school production-like and cheap-looking to the point where it actually distracted from the overall production. The...More

I am only scoring this 4 out of 5, because i did not get a chance to have a look inside. The facade is so detailed and so interesting, and for an architecture buff, it's a must see. I have been told that the interior...More

A magnificent piece of architecture worth visiting and walking around on all 4 sides as the decorative surfaces both on the building and on the exterior even on the sides and streets are very cool. A short walk from the main train station. the Doctor

This is the heart of old town Copenhagen, with its
blend of charming old buildings and bold new
architecture, broad avenues and tiny streets as well
as picturesque canals and a modern harbor. The inner
city is home to the Royal Danish Theatre, which
consists of three buildings, two of which are new and
situated on the harbor front. The streets, squares and
venues of the inner city and its surrounding
