My wife and I spent a few days in Copenhagen, and we truly enjoy visiting royal abodes. We were very impressed by the number of gorgeous interiors offered here at Christianborg. Is was very easy to get here, took the 9A bus from the front of the train station, took no more than approximately ten minutes to arrive. The signage... More

Over the years, Christiansborg Palace Chapel has provided the setting for royal weddings and other ceremonial events, such as, most recently, the baptism of Prince Christian and his younger sister Princess Isabella. As for its architecture, when designing the chapel, C. F. Hansen was inspired by the world-famous building the Pantheon in Rome, while the front resembles the entrance to... More

Very neat, some superb details and small funny things make it worth seeing (some carved detail is actually a bit bawdy!). Well preserved, a neat bit of history!

It is a pity that this church is reached accidently by many. It is not impressive from outside but from inside it is very nice. It is a pity that sometimes attraction maps fail to show a nice landmark and at other times would landmark a useless street.

Being the Royal Church it is a very underrated / unrecognised spot. We stumbled across this place by pure chance ( I have this thing where if there is a door open i will attempt to walk through - as who knows what is on the other side! ). Luckily we went in as I feel it is a very... More

This small church is very much in the style of the Christiansborg palace. It is not ostentatious in my opinion but full of character and style. Lots of large and small details all showing effort and craftmanship. Lots of marble and gold leaf. A nice stop before or after the main palace.
