Probably the best park I've ever been to. If you wanna skateboard in Copenhagen, you have to go here. Good for beginners and experts. The whole vibe and atmosphere is relaxing, and the people are nice. Also nice to find a skatepark with a functional toilet.

Went to the park after reading good reviews and were not disappointed. The bulk of the park is expansive flat grassland with a few wooded areas, a cafe and a lake. However dotted around the park are a number of children's play areas which simply have to be seen to be believed. The play areas include: Traffic light zone -... More

Huge park with a lake, football fields, vast lawns, a cafe, flowers, bushes and many people. I enjoy it most early in the morning when not so many people are around.

This park is great. Plenty things for young ones to get on with different activities. Lovely to see so much put out for leisure activities in the capital city.

A nice place to sit in the sun and enjoy good company of friends and family. Or go here for a walk, a run, play soccer or play with your children. There are a lot of people on sunny days and be prepared that people will play music, prepare food on small BBQs etc. There is however enough space for... More

Way back in the 19th century this was the place of the battle between the socialists and the police. And it became an iconic place for the common man. And today it is truly a gathering place. Whether it's soccer, jogging or enjoying the sun this is the place to meet the average copenhagener.

This is a park you go to like a tradition, on the 1th of May. Many Young people go there, drink beer or whatever, hang out. Great for the midsummer evening when there is a bunfire and some political speeches. It's a free park so you can Come all year around..

Such a nice place for picnic, a strole, a run ir simply to siak up the sun. Very nice playground for kids, use the 'trianglen' entrance and keep right.

A place where you can just lay in the grass for the rest of the day as people play sports, grill and have a good time.

Staying in Outer Oesterbro

Neighbourhood Profile
Outer Oesterbro
Fælledparken continues into Outer Oesterbro, where Parken (Denmark's national soccer stadium) is located. In the middle of Outer Oesterbro you’ll find Østre Gasværk, which is a popular theatre located in an old (brick-wall) gas cylinder. Travel to the easternmost part of Outer Oesterbro to reach Nordhavn, a harbour area where most of the development is over water, showcasing Copenhagen's constant development. Nordhavn is home to the UN City and to pricey penthouse apartments which, on a clear day, can see all the way to Sweden.
