The Hoejbro Plads are nice stop during your walk in the city. Worth a stop by and it is very close to all the must see places in the city.

Nice buildings around. The main attraction is the Absalon statue, who was very important person in Denmark's history. Worth a see for sure.

You can't be downtown with out passing by this square sometime. Especially right now with all the construction of the underground going on. This is the way to the canals and lots of shopping and eating. Watch you step, the cobblestones are very uneven and...More

When you are there you truly are downtown. Christiansborg Castle, the canal, the stork fountain, cafes, shops, lots of people and in a couple of years less construction and a metro station.

This is a public square located between the adjoining Amagertorv and Slotsholmen Canal in the City Centre.Its main feature is the equestrian statue of Bishop Absalon, founder of Copenhagen. Actually Højbro ("High Bridge") is the name of a nearby bridge.
