So You read Jules Vernes "Journey to the Center of the Earth"? Yes, this is the site of his "Nephew test". So cross that off your list :) - And whilst your up there - take time to enjoy how beautiful Copenhagen Old Town is.

We didn't have time to climb the spire (not for the faint hearted!) but the Church was fascinating to admire from the ground - lots to see inside and out!

Highly recommended as part of the visit to Christianshavns area. Great view of the whole city. You can walk all the way up to the peak of the tower, with the strong wind and height, it can be quite scary. Suggest to wear good footwear...More

If you want good views of the Copenhagen city this is the place to go. Walking along the outside of the spire was such a unique activity giving you 360 degree views of Copenhagen. Definitely worth the climb and have your camera ready!

Very steep stairs to get to the top, and the spiral steps which you can see on the outside were pretty vertiginous. I really enjoyed the experience and it’s well worth the trip but it’s not an easy climb, would not recommend for the elderly,...More

People flock to the Church of our Saviour for is unique climbable twisted spire, however in wet weather the spire is closed, but the inside is still well worth the visit. The light and airy church has a magnificent backdrop to the altar with marble...More

Of the many churches we visited in Copenhagen, I think this was my favourite. That crazy spiral spire is so unique, I've never seen anything like it. It looks like something from a fairytale. Inside is beautiful too, the centrepiece above the altar is spectacular....More

If you like climbing narrow stairs in old churches - this one is a must! There are 400 steps to climb, of which the last 150 wind around the outside of the spire. Being outside in the wind is a bit of a challenge. You...More

Just across one of the many bridges from Indre By,
you’ll find Christianshavn. An eclectic area with old
brick lanes, houses dating back to the 16th century,
and canals which are home to many boats and ships,
some of which has been turned into restaurants or even
serve as fully furnished homes. The best known
attraction in Chistianshavn is Christiania, a “free
town” of residents who squat on a former military

Sorry, I check to see if they have web-site, I can imagine how beautiful to hear their organ. We heard just a little of it.

Sorry don't know - I would contact the Church directly or perhaps the concierge at the hotel at which you are planning to stay.

There is no admission charge to enter the church, only if you want to go to the tower. Tower admission is a couple Kroner.
