This is a great part of town with its lovely streets, cafe's, antique stores, book stores, and coffee shops. I highly recommend this area for a visit even on a cold day.

This central area is very popular and busy with roads leading off through the main shopping area down to Nyhavn and also is a short walk from the Christiansborg Palace. With the canal also running close by many canal tours starting point is here. A...More

The Gammel Strand, is a lovely area of the city to stroll around - it is undergoing many works at present but it does not really effect the experience. Another great place to visit.

At the time, there is metro construction at Gammel Strand so this can cause an impediment if you want to enjoy the view. However, the atmosphere is nice and relaxing especially if you enjoy a cup of coffee by one of the many cafes or...More
