Jazzhouse is Copenhagen's most important jazz club. The club presents more than 200 concerts a year with the most outstanding contemporary artists and established legends. Jazzhouse is a creative powerhouse in Northern Europe when it comes to live concerts and is an influential institution in the development of the concert form. Jazzhouse has, in its long history, always been the 'it' jazz scene in Copenhagen, showcasing talented musicians from both near and far. Expect at Jazzhouse to sit side by side with renowned musicians and artists whose enthusiasm and style continually challenge and develop the jazz genre. After Friday and Saturday concerts the night club always remains open until dawn- let go on the dance floor to the hippest DJs and VJs around or head upstairs to the intimate cocktail bar Herluf.

In Copenhagen Jazzhouse you can hear jazz - and many other types of musik. The location in the middle of the city is perfect. The atmosphere and the size og the concert hall is close to perfekt too! Its not too big - and not toot small. The music programe is offen very good - remember to boy tickets in... More

Super easy to find, Jazzhouse is trying to redefine the idea of 'jazz' – taking in avant garde electronic music, modern classical, and so on – so if you're looking for something more traditional and classic, double check online to see what's on that night in case it's not to your taste. There's a small bar upstairs doing nice cocktails,... More

Great place to see jazz (other music also available) and, on the night we were there, had very friendly bar staff. Unfortunately they don't serve food so eat before or after

Having spent four lovely days in Copenhagen we planned to enjoy our last day experiencing the famous Copenhagen's jazz scene. We chose JazzHouse on a Saturday night and were totally disapointed with the experimental performance of Romantic Trio, which played a rather disharmonic horrible sound, that could be named anything apart from Jazz. If you are interested in hearing authentic... More

With the recent booking policy, Jazzhouse doesn't really for it's name any more - if you just drop in any random night, you are more likely to be treated to some experimental / avantgarde act than anything fitting in the jazz genre. At least for me, that is a very welcome change. The upper floor has a quite good cocktail... More

We heard about this place and thought we would give it a try. The night we were there, the artist was very "avant guard" as explained by the waitress prior to the show. We like all sorts of music and decided to buy tickets and give it a try. When we arrived to a packed house, the artist was sitting... More

We saw Trio of Oz at Jazzhus in October 2011. The show was great; the space is cozy and appropriate. There were 50 to 60 people in the audience. We had dinner at the club before the show. That we would not recommend. The food was alright, but not terrific and there were few other diners. There are plenty of... More
