Wonderful in brick craft it is a treasured legacy from the 1400s. Moving beyond the outstanding façade in red and stepping inside is to see a fabulous organ dating from the early 1660s.
This is just one of the impressive features. An exquisite pulpit adorned with superb holy images is on the way to the altar area. Pews in light grey have a scallop shell motif on each.
A gorgeous ceiling crowns the grand array of columns and arches. The fine cloister shows its origins as part of the Carmelite Monastery.

St Mary’s is a beautiful brick church in Helsingor. This is a simple but elegant church. The church’s interior is impressive. It is definitely worth a visit.

The gardens were beautiful and in bloom when I visited in July. The architecture of the building is beautiful. The cloister in the center was peaceful and the interior of the church was beautiful as well. Do not miss it!

This old church still have walls dating back to the middleage. It is well maintained, and has lots of history. There is an old coutyard and old hallways. Bring your camera - here are good opportunities for great photographs.

The monastery and church were founded in the late Middle Ages by Erik van Pommeren for a group of Carmelites from Landskrona . To their white hats the monks were also called white brothers.

We stopped by mid week around 12.30pm and were treated to someone playing on the organ - a calming atmosphere complemented by a clean, crisp white, internal decoration.
