You can still see where the mill worked and the water sluices that used to drive the stones. An old bread oven is quietly decaying along the track and the ruins of the millers cottage sit above teh bridge beneath the castle

I loved the atmosphere of the old bridge and it was stunning up close. It took us some time to find it but it was definitely worth it!

Went to the castle, castle shut. Went for a walk, found the bridge. Nothing spectacular, not worth going out of your for. However it was a nice walk in the sun so if that floats your boat....

Amazing scenery lovely little tracks to walk along (sensible shoes is a must) Roman bridge and remains of the old bakers house, sometimes streams and rivers in winter months.
