This is a great place if you are after a natural non-developed hot pool used by locals as well. Experience could vary from day to day, particularly after heavy rainfall, then it's colder. Unfortunately, as with all natural pools in Rotorua/Taupo you HAVE TO keep...More

We really enjoyed a dip in this amazing hot springs stream. We were there at about 1pm and there were only a few other people there, which was great, but when we got out my daughters bag had disappeared. We asked the other people who...More

Great spot to break up a car journey. Were there in what would be a busy day - but being there before 11am meant we had very few people there (found park right next to bridge and were the only people there for a while)....More

Excellent viewing, beautiful colours in the champagne pool. Heaps of info and there are guide tours at specific times. Spectacular landscape views when taking pics.

This place would've been nice until people started to litter. During my swim i found broken glass, trash and lots of empty beer bottles.Felt like i was swimmers in a warm sewer. Won't be going back.
