Went to this museum on day trip from Copenhagen, expecting to spend an hour or 90 minutes. We were so pleasantly surprised, the museum is huge and has something for everyone. Only bad point for me is that I don't support keeping live animals on exhibit, so I would get rid of that. Otherwise, special exhibitions on Swedish culture and... More

I went to this museum with my 4-years old son, so first worries were - will it be enough interesting also for him? Situation was corrected with museum part where were nature and animals and of course aquarium. Aquarium was the best part - it is quite big and with different animals in there. It was quite good. Rest of... More

Malmo Museer is a probably fantastic for children but as an adult I also enjoyed it. The museum has an excellent collection from different periods and nice temporary exhibitions. There is also an aquarium with exotic species and a small space with artificial tropical climate.

Not a bad aquarium and mostly aimed at children. Might not be much to keep adults interested. One of the white busses that rescued concentration camp victims in WWII outside front gate was most interesting.

This museum was surprisingly large with a mixed of varieties. In the basement level, you have a small aquarium with detailed information of various specimens. As you progress upward, a multiple subjects and topics from modern to historical. It was definitely worth the few kroners we paid. Surprisingly, the restaurant in the museum did not charged a king's ransom for... More

Malmö Museer consists of a lot: Slottsholmen (the big castle called Malmöhus slott), Teknikens och Sjöfartens hus and Kommendanthuset (all three near each other). Included are also Ebbas hus at Snapperupsgatan,Wowragården in Södra Sallerup and Slottsmöllan by Mölleplatsen but it's the three first mentioned that are the most famous and visited. Look them up separately to get the best reviews.... More

Definitely a must-do in Malmö; great museum, interactive aquarium and interesting ruins of a castle all-in-one. Try to spare two hours to this great attraction.
