It´s a really nice museum, with not too many things. Dont miss the submarine and all the sculptures. You can actually go through the museum in an hour and see the most important stuff, and you can also spend a few hours there. The restaurant is ok and they have really nice icecream

In this place I can quickly get the feel of sea life on and around the old sailing ships. Great atmospherics and very interesting material on things like rope making and more. Unfortunately there was construction happening during our visit but still very good facility

Fun museum which is full of things to see.. wish there was a small area for little ones to play inside. Other than that we loved it, it's also free 👍🏼 They also have a lunch buffet, make sure you go there, super tasty food and lots of options..

This museum was fascinating telling the story of how ship were build from the 17th century until today. Also how life onboard was back then and a hugh section with different rifles and other weapons. Some interactive parts for all ages here and there. We also entered a modern submarine and got a first hand experience guide from a man... More

This museum came as a good surprise in Karlskrona. After feeiling the disappointment of not being able to visit the most important/interesting part of the city (since it is a military area), I took a walk in the old town, and discovered this museum. Very interesting, free, and a nice place where you can have a tasty lunch! Also suitable... More

This is an excellent no-cost museum with something for everyone. We went with friends and their two small boys, who were enthralled by the special activities for kids. The building itself is impressive, and overlooking the harbour - there are ships to explore, and a great café (with both indoor and outdoor tables). We especially enjoyed the room with the... More

It used to be a museum that was easy to visit during one afternoon. After the extenxion it is tiresome to see it in one go, so I suggest to split the visit into two days. There is no charge to the museum. First I recommend to see the historical exhibition on the ground floor and the first floor. The... More
