Went cycling around this park and it was quite the pleasant ride. Wide open space for group activities and with good services around it, all while being close to the city centre.

Pleasant and well-kept park, large playground, it's just a shame that one of the alleys was occupied by local hobos.

Perfect place to stop en route to many of the other local attractions. Had we more time we may have gone on one of the three meadow walks around the gardens and lake. From 1km to 3km I believe. Next time.

Experienced on a sunny summer's day, this is a wonderful place to relax and enjoy time by the lakeside. The history makes it even more special.

This one is nice if you have some time to kill or maybe to have a picnic. Especially if the weather is nice. But other than that, there really isn't much here.

They changed the park since our last visit - they built a big stage and moved the flying swing to the other, larger park next to the tennis courts across the lake. The beautiful plants are the main attraction - it is, after all, named...More

This is a nice place for kids to run around. It's kinda gloomy in the winter but beautiful when the sun is out in the summer. Stop and enjoy a picnic here.
