A contemporary gallery
Oct 2021 • Family
The exhibition was not interesting from a photography point of view. There is no permanent exhibition. Its just a contempoary gallery with the usual dogmatic leftist bs. Wear tutleneck and carry a glass of wine. The photos are made by artists that for no reason chose this medium.

Great photo exhibitions with changing artists. You book your ticket online in advance. Large free locker for your bags. Lovely looking restaurant on the top floor (didnt eat there myself) Close to the Viking Line ferries to Åland and Finland.

Very disappointing
A visit in the "Fotografiska" exhibtion is totally not worth it!

When I came into the museum, I expected a lot of special and rewarded photographies...

When I left the museum I went out totally disappointed. The quantity of photos is very small. Further most of the photos are like modern (crazy) art and just three different topics..

And moreover the event had a price with approximately 17 Euro (170 SK)... totally bad price/benefit-relation!

Excellent place to visit!
Spent almost two hours in the museum even though I’m not really into arts or photography. For sure a beautiful place to visit!

This is ART.
I had made my home work ahead of the visit. But I was blown away.

When you think the exposition is good on the ground level, wait until you walk up to the first floor… The exposition on Cho G-Seok is mind blowingly good. You an spend at least 30 minutes looking at his work. I did not know of him, but I’m so glad I had the opportunity to discover it.

On the same floor you’ll find the works of Snezhana von Büdingen. Her pictures of the Sofie, a girl with Down Syndrom, is very touching. Happy mixed with melancholy and joy; while at the same time very endearing. You’ll find yourself absorbed into the life of this girl.

A must on your visit of Stockholm.

You can also have lunch at the top floor. Careful, there can be a wait. The menu is short, but the food is ok. The deserts should not be avoided.
The view on the water and Stockholm is worth the detour.

Cool
Compared to the other museums in town this is one of the best. A must see if here, the only hassle is getting here. Not for smaller children or elderly, since it’s a lot of walking. A bit pricy.

Fantastic photo museum and good restaurant
A very nice, and known, museum of photography. Try to go outside rushhours as it can be crowded. Entry fee is also quite high and a must for visiting the café/restaurant.
