The place where Olof Palme, Swedish prime minister, was murdered. Regardless of political sentiments, it is an important part of modern Swedish history and should be commemorated with more than a plaque. Only worth a visit if you find the story particularly interesting.

Some have argued that this is a small, barely visible plaque that is easily missable (correct on both counts) and nothing special at all. They miss the point. The simplicity is exactly what the man it commemorates--Former Prime Minister Olof Palme would probably have wanted....More

This is the place where the then Prime Minister of Sweden was shot walking home with his wife after watching a movie at the Grand Cinema further north on the same street, Sveavägen. The murderer has not been found until today.
