I took one of the many canal tours offered along the banks, it was called Stockholm Sightseeing. It was 50 minutes and about $25. Totally worth it! Interesting and fun. Recommended!

Don't think of Amsterdam when you think of Stockholm's canals. Amsterdams canals are because the city was built on a swamp and the canals enabled the city to reclaim the land. Stockholm is built on islands and the canals are really rivers and connecting water...More

We enjoyed the serene scenery along the canal. Reflection of the numerous large buildings, from numerous locations along the canal is beautiful

We took the hop on hop off canal tour as a combo with the hop on hop off bus. It has multi lingual translations through ear buds you receive when you get on both boat and bus. A very good way to see different aspects...More

Impressive city full of canals which are probably its best attraction. Enjoy while walking around, better if in a sunny day. Just unforgettable.

We managed to take both tours (on separate days) and it was a great decision. Both the tours give you a bit of history and more insight into Stockholm. These were covered with the Stockholm pass and well worth it. Royal canal tour is 50...More

Hello, we booked our tour on the stromma company website. We chose the Winter tour because it was not too long to stay outside on the dock. I think the most comprehensive would be the Archipelago tour with guide. Best... More

We had a great relaxing time wandering the old town, visiting the museums like vasa and skanska and the ice bar. If you pick the right places it doesn't have to be as expensive as everyone has probably told you either.... :0)
