Unique store with very attractive merchandise, from furniture to various decorative articles based on classic Swedish designs

Excellent design for sale set in beautiful tableaux gives an insight into way of living. The store manages to create dream homes through various examples. You get inspired to shop and appreciate Swedish design. It's a must for those looking for the classic ambience of Swedish design and a must for those looking for quality furnitures, textiles and design objects.

Svenskt Tenn is a staple in Stockholm for anyone interested in interior design. The boutique has several floors and is mostly dedicated to the designs and fabrics by Josef Frank. The store is pricey but worth checking out and if you happen to go during the week you might be able to grab a table in the tea room. The... More

Bought some Christmas gifts online with store pick up to save time. Crowded store, lacking organization and efficiency. Staff rude and not service minded. A week after pick up I receive an invoice. Turns out their system wasn't working properly and yes again I have to experience rude staff who seems unable to solve an issue that other, less exclusive... More

Lovely shop but terrible service. Waiting in queue and not even acknowledged. No apology for wait. Quite arrogant staff for such an expensive shop. Didn't realise also that had to take number!

Much bigger than I was expecting, but still I was left a little underwhelmed - perhaps because it was full of things out of my price range! Fun for a window shop to plan your Scandi home in an alternative richer lifetime.

Our local friend brought us here for afternoon tea and finger sandwiches. This was a great stop on our first day in Stockholm to get over jet lag....afternoon tea and smoked salmon sandwiches. Definitely save room for the desserts. The store is also very nice showing examples of nordic designers.

Josef Frank is one of the top designers of the 20th century and this shop does him proud offering textiles, lighting, soft goods, accessories and more. I found the employees to be extremely helpful and they do ship all over the world. They also offer designs by other designers including fashion jewelry.
