Sergels Torg is a roundabout with vast construction going on around it. It is located in the centre of Stockholm’s shopping and business districts. As a tourist attraction it is very plain and offers little. I am told it is better at night when it...More

This square is lovely during the day, but in the night, the pole in the middle is illuminated in beautiful blue - awesome sight

Sergels Torg square is more of a transport hub than a tourist attraction. The main train and coach stations are down the other end of the road, while Stockholm bus & tram routes have their terminals here. Watch out that at the moment (August 2018)...More

This is one of the main squares in Stockholm. The tower looks amazing at night when it is lit up. It really adds to the modern nature of the square, and provides a feature. Unfortunately, there is a lot of building works going on around...More

It’s a got place to start your shopping trip - from here you can get anywhere nice in Stockholm in 5-10 minutes. Go north by Sergelgatan or Drottninggatan or head south and you’ll be in Gamla Stan in no time!

The most interesting places of this square are Kulturhuset and Kristallvertikalaccent. Kulturhuset hosts expositions as well as musical, dance and theater performances. Kristallvertikalaccent installed at the center of the square is a 37.5-meter tall glass obelisk illuminated at night.

Stockholm is a truly beautiful city in most places, but Sergels Torg and most of its surrounding several hundred meters is a horribly ugly place with its many dystopian 1960s brutalism inspired flat boxes of glass and naked concrete that make Soviet Khrushchyovka suburbs feel...More

The tower is lit up in the dark and I thought it looked quite striking. The square is under renovation so not looking at its best. I see in other reviews people mention that they felt unsafe. We didn’t experience that, but perhaps it is...More

Not a major issue, but be aware there's buidling work going on here, so the higher level area is a bit of a building site, but the area below next to the tunelbana atsation is fine.

If you spend some time in Stockholm as a tourist or are there for business - you more or less can not avoid passing Sergels Torg. It is a monument of bad taste architecture and is populated by the same amount of pigeons as scabby...More
