Interesting tour that gave much more information about the time, its people and the family Larsson than the art itself. The guided tour (Swedish) took 1 hour. Not too many people.

A great cost place for all family where kids can go on kids guided tour. As Swedish as it gets... additionally a Cosy village to stroll around.

I enjoyed my visit to this quaint museum garden. As a visitor in this country, great introduction to Swedish art. Although I heard about Carl Larssen, I never knew about Carl and Karinna Larssen until I visited this place.

If you love the Swedish paintings of Carl Larsson - those famous pictures of the inside of Swedish family homes in the late 1800's and early 1900's - do not miss the chance to visit the home and garden of the artist.

We could not see anything inside since between October and May the place is closed. The surroundings (lake, garden, old houses) looked fine enough, though. It was fun seeing it, but this is definitely a summer time attraction. Do not bother coming in April.

Nice to go on a guided tour in this painter's house but in general overrated I would say. The Zorn house in Mora I find much more interesting! Unfortunately you are not allowed to take photos inside.
