It’s ok, small but beautiful. During the summer there are many open air restaurants close by and it’s a nice place to visit. The river is also pleasant and worth a look. Quaint small Swedish town

Örebro castle is amazing and a definite must go to when in Örebro. A very important place in the Swedish history. Dressed up guides and smiling staff members made the visit pleasant. A decent gift shop and a very picturesque feeling to the whole experience....More

If you stop in Örebro, which you should do if you are in the vicinity, take the time to visit the castle. My kids were thrilled.

They are open to public for guided tours on weekends only. On weekdays, they have a small museum at a corner of the castle. It is just a 10-15 minutes tour. I was inside the museum for less than 10 minutes as I was all alone... More
