was not on my list, I went to see the "Linkoping Castle" but that failed to justify my time and then I've discovered this place. I loved it, every inch of it. It was almost closing time, not many shops were open but I didn't mind that at all, it was actually better so I can enjoy the whole thing... More

I visited the place with my friend during Aug-2016. We got late and it was over 5 PM. Some things were closed but still we had really nice time looking at historical buildings and structures. It was really good to see how things were in the past.

July 2015, it's cute and pretty with lovely flowers and real residents but it's just like walking around any old set of houses and quite small.

This open air museum is very much alive, people are actually living here. Lots of crafts and small museums housed in all the buildings saved from demolition around Linköping. Beautiful, historic settings. Best time to visit is around summer and for the Christmas market.

I had been to this place about ten years ago, but forgot how great it was. All the tiny museums were interesting, and the little shops were lovely. The reenactments were amazing in a sort of hilarious way for adults. For kids, I'm sure they are just amazing! Some great actors.

This open air museum is about 2 km west from city center and best reached by car. There is small parking fee priced per hour and entrance is otherwise free. We visited here quickly and spent only one hour. This old wooden city is authentic and just lovely. There are traditional shops, cafes and professionals who show how work was... More
