Your going to need a car to get to these their not really advertised anywhere and when you do visit their in the middle of nowhere. Well worth the drive out from Roveniemi it's only 25Km or so and the roads are good. It's signposted...More

The photos are deceiving as you can't get down the holes....at least not now in May. There is no ladder besides them being filled with water. GREAT place for bouldering around, afternoon hike, exploring lovely forest walks.

Interesting place if you are into geology and geographical phenomena. You need a car of your own and if you visit them on a nice summer's day, pay a visit to the sandy beach of the nearby island of Rautiosaari. Ask locals for directions.
