A terrific way to go from one city to to the other. The views leaving Helsinki and especially going through the Swedish archipelago in the morning were beautiful. Upgrade to a window room if you can - its worth it. I am not a great sailor but had no problem with sea sickness. I ate only at the small cafes... More

We used Viking line for a trip from Helsinki to Tallinn and were very happy with the whole experience. Living on the other side of the world it was great to be able to have all information available from the website and perform the booking online directly. Based on the information provided it was easy to get to the ferry... More

We went from Helsinki to Tallinn. The boat was clean and the staff friendly. There was also several small cafes for a nice snack. It took about two hours . Price was reasonable.

Excellent service for kids. Enough to occupy them and a day long programme to follow, along with friendly entertainers/ activators. Perhaps not a great deal for those without kids (except drinking?). Fabulous ship.

We took the Viking Line MS Gabriella from Stockholm to Helsinki which we stayed for a night. Everything on board went smoothly except for the check in in Helsinki which took way too long. There was only 2 counters catered to normal guest and the other 2 for group check in. We waited for almost 40 minutes just to reach... More

The only bad thing about this trip was the long wait to board the ship , well over half an hour standing in a queue; The ship was clean , seating and food adequate.

I took the Viking Line ferry from Katajanokka Terminal to go to Tallinn. However this was no day cruise for me as I stayed in Tallinn for 3 more days and then took the plane to go back home. The ferry was very big and there were quite some passengers on it too. Most seemed to be daytrippers lured to... More

Okay, I went for the cheap seats. We took the overnight ferry from Stockholm to Helsinki and were on the very lower deck. The hallways smelled a little musty and the room was tiny with no window, of course, and I felt slightly claustrophobic if I thought much about being below water line! But the beds were quite comfortable and... More
