A worthy visit for the art and architectural lover. The building itself is an architectural marvel. There is nothing conventional about it on the inside. I really love the integration of art and architecture in its design and function. The artwork is very contemporary and...More

Because I had the Helsinki Card, allowing me access to several sites, I popped in to see what Kiasma had to offer. Staff was friendly, the building well located. I was not very impressed by the exhibitions and spent about 20 minutes, total, in the...More

Security guy allows handbags for women but rudely denies men. Kind of disgusting as he does not take my question about this subject. Sex-based discrimination to make men feel like suicide bomber suspect!

This as the title suggests contemporary but I enjoyed the different stuff on view. Lots of interactive exhibits and the building is light and airy. Staff also very friendly. 12 € if you are an OAP.

American architect Steven Hol designed the building. One elevation of the building museum is impressive but I thought the rest rather disappointing. The current exhibition was also disappointing and uninspiring.

An interesting museum with lots of art. I came for the architecture as I don't really enjoy viewing contemporary art. But there is a lot to see and several galleries of large and small works.

This is one of the highest gallery entry fees in Helsinki so unless you're an avid fan of contemporary installation and video art this might not be your cup of tea. However there is an impressive collection if you are. It's a great building and...More

I have been to Kiasma repeatedly over the years. While I find the building's aesthetics not to my taste (some will like it), I have to say that whoever the curators of this museum are, they are some of the best in the world. The...More

The building is nice, and the opening times are very convenient, until PM 8.30 two or three days per week. I've had the opportunity to visit the ARS17 exhibition and appreciated the variety of the panel of the works as well as the smart use...More
