Great if you want some fresh fruit, veg or a cheap bite to eat. Gets very busy and has loads of sea gulls trying to steal your food. Also has some craft stalls. Seems to be open every day during summer.

Hakaniemen tori is a traditional, Finnish market square. Now-a-days you find mostly flowers and fresh fruit, vegetables and berries - and authentic, old-fashioned market square cafe tents (torikahvila). The Hakaniemi market hall next door is under renovation but the temporary facilities are at the very...More

Another one of my favorites. The fresh food, the variety - we kept going back again and again for more. Highly recommeded.

I am a huge fan of berries, specially in the summer. I arrived in Helsinki and made my way to the Hakaniemi market to get my hands on some berries.
