They say if Stockmann's don't have it, it's not for sale....we though this was a good department store, but like many others around the world.

Fantastic department store at the opposite end of the Esplanadi from Market Square. Much like Harrods or Selfridges. High end fashion as well as what you'd expect in terms of Finnish design and crafts. The grocery and deli/restaurant are spectacular.

It is fairly typical of all other department stores that you see. It has the big brands and is a lovely old building. It isn't cheap as Finland is expensive. If you enjoy shopping come visit.

When you plan to go shopping during your visit to Helsinki, Stocmann is the place to go. You can find all kinds of items ranging from those pertaining to local culture (including Lapland) to international fashion. The food/deli store is worth visiting as well.

When in downtown Helsinki you cannot miss the huge Stockman's department store. They say if you can't find it in Stockmans then you probably don't need it. The service is outstanding. They have a Cafe and an outdoor deli. There are also restrooms available.
