First, Sibelius deserves something like this as not only the greatest Finnish composer but as a composer of some the most beautiful melodies in the world. People are right to say that the bust is exaggerated in a kind of wierd way but it is...More

We walked all the way from the Church of the Rock to the park. (about 25 minutes easy walking ) Although it was quite hot it was o.k. as we refreshed ourselves in a cafe by the park. In any case, it is a mid-size...More

Beautiful and unique monument. It's located close to the beach so you can walk about 2 miles along the beach front which is really nice. There is no entrance fee or anything and you can take some beautiful photographs with the sun shining on the...More

We didn't stay very long, but it was long enough. The monument is very unique and fun to explore. There are a couple of cafes around if you want that and the park is lovely. Worth a look.

The Sibelius monument is a very unique design and worth a stop just for that. It is located in a very nice park, and it justifies a short visit. There is a very neat coffee shop at the lake across from the park, making it...More

Now this a unique monument and park like area. It is a sizable piece of art. The theory is that when the wind blows these huge stainless steel “chimes” will make sounds. This place is dedicated to Sibelius, a Finnish composer, and his contribution to...More

We explored the monument and area around it and had a very nice afternoon there. The monument is beautiful and just behind the monument is a nice café and path to walk around the lake.

Must have been lucky again today. Not too many people at the park, but I understand it can be very crowed. You only need 5-15 minutes at the most here, unless you would like to take a longer walk through the park, but today was...More

It costs nothing to go enter the park. It’s an open park for everyone to walk around and enjoy the open space.
