It is a lovely Art-Nouveau style which caters for 200,000 passengers per day! It was so quiet ... until it was rush hour!

This is a nice and clean train station. Located very nicely in Helsinki and very convenient. Having used other train stations, this one is considerably better than most.

We always try and visit main stations, and this is a very impressive building in what I think is Art Deco style rather than the Gothic often found elsewhere in Europe, so quite light and airy.

A beautiful building full of character and extremely busy! The tourist information center is housed within as well as a host of cafes and snack bars. Luggage lockers are provided to store your cases if you want to explore the city.

The stone men guard the entrance. There is a pretty old picture in the Burger King. It reminds me of Penn Station in NYC.

The level of English in Helsinki is very high. If you can speak English then you can get along very easily in all tourist areas as well on transport.
