Truly surprising experience, with interesting touches, such as the very large historic painting adorn8bg the main wall in the fast food restaurant, the Art Deco styling and the metal helmets the statues outside wore for the last heavy metal concert.

It's the only railway station in Helsinki. It's the easy to find your way every where to Finland. There are many places to find something to eat there.

Good to look at but frustrating to photograph with so many cables criss crossing in front of it. Toilets were clean and managed to get an excellent cup of coffee at Roberts coffee shop

What a beautiful Railway Station! It is one not to be missed. The architecture is amazing and it should definitely be in movies.

We were there to look around. It's a busy station. We found the tourist advice station to be very friendly and helpful. They help us book ferry boat reservations (which would have been difficult for us, as the websites were in Finnish or Swedish.

A veritable cathedral of a building from the early 20th century. In particular there are two very striking figures either side of the main entrance, each holding huge spherical lamps.

Everything is made easy here, we caught the train to the airport. Being in the middle of town is a bonus, not at all far from the tram and bus stops.

The famous building is impressive as always, but the police do not do enough to keep it free of drunks & derelicts. But it is clean and well organized.

The level of English in Helsinki is very high. If you can speak English then you can get along very easily in all tourist areas as well on transport.
