Lars Sonck is the architect of this church, same architect as Sibelius' Ainola home house. It has very tall, simple tower.Interior is interesting and quite minimalistic but unfortunately it is open normally only during ceremonies.

The single tower is I think the highest in Finland unless taken inside. Culturally the church is interestingly located in the border between well and less well to do. Nowadays such borders do not exist. You have to be rich to live on both sides of the church.

Park in back of the church for free. Closer than walking from metered city parking too.

Mikael Agricola Church hosts amazing caffe, with excellent food and great atmosphere. It is surrounded by beautiful little parks and nearby one can also find small and quirky design butiques. Definitively worth a visit
