The Töölönlahti bay at the heart of Helsinki is surrounded with lots of greenery and beautiful views. Hesperianpuisto –park is on the western side of the bay, stretching from the Finlandia House to the national opera. The park is beautiful and peaceful, though watch out for the joggers and the cyclists. PRO TIP: The park is best enjoyed as a... More

We were lucky enough to be staying at the hotel opposite. This park is large and spacious and has a beautiful lake in the centre. It's only 10-15 minutes walk into the city centre and it's a lovely and relaxing walk around the park with plenty of spaces to relax.

If you want a break from the city, this is practically next to the main train station and stretches along a calm and beautiful lake. It is perfect for a gentle stroll or cycle in lush greenery. It passes by the opera and the Olympic stadium if you want to incorporate it with some cultural activities.

Helsinki is all about parks and sea, this park is right next to the Opera so you'll get the chance to visit that as well. It s a beautiful park with an amazing landscape

Hesperia park is in the middle of Helsinki's heart, Töölö. The park itself is a nice recreational park with old trees and flowers in the summer. A nice place but not in any way astounding.

I have lived near by. Used to walk through, when I went downtown. Maybe when you are from outside of Helsinki, you look at the park differently. For a visiting guest the monument of Urho Kekkonen is interesting.

A few stones do not help. Not worth to visit. It is a nice area though.
