Ok so the statue is nice enough. But with the road work, the traffic and the trams this isn't really a very pleasing place. Somewhere to pass through rather than to stop and enjoy.

we have seen here by chance. we prefer to walk on that day so we came by this area. If you are walking, just pass through to see. The statues and the area is not crowded. there were drones flying over :)

Here starts the nice shopping and restaurant area of Helsinki. On the northern side are small museums and concert hall wotth while visiting. In the summertime nicer than winter or autumn.

A crossing in the city centre. Not so much to see here but traffic. The kiasma museum is nice.A good place to pass through.

A square with a riders stature... Good views to the Parlamient and National Museum as well as the post building. If you are knowledgable on Finnish culture and history as square as many others (and a bit noisy due to traffic noise

Mannerheiminaukio is headquartered in Helsinki. Near the train station. A large equestrian statue of Mannerheim.

This is a place to walk through if you are visiting Kiasma museo. Parlament house is under rennovation near by. You may have 'meet me here' appointment. Everybody knows the place.
