We took a day tour to the medieval town of Porvoo outside Helsinki. The tour guide was excellent and the town of Porvoo is definitely worth a visit. We had a good driver and it was nice to get out of Helsinki into the countryside.
We bought the Helsinki card which was good value. The bus tour was 90 min and gave us an excellent orientation to the city. The card cost €48 per person, and enabled us to save €30 with free entrance to museums, boat rides, etc.
