The church is the first thing that you would bump on when arriving by the road. I have been more surprised by the ratio of the church compared to the size of Loviissa. I am not a huge fan of churches and Nordic ones are...More

Passing by this beautiful church every day. One of the most majestic churches in finland. It is also a land mark for Lovisa. You can see it almost everywere in Lovisa

This big and beautiful redbrick church is located next to Loviisa market place. Parking place is just next to church, so easily reached by car too.

In winter, it is difficult to visit the cities, because many places are closed... ... of course churches are open on sunday during the Mass

The view of the church is best from the small green just to the south of the church and across the street. We did a walking loop from the central green to the fortress ruin, down past the marina to the beach and back through...More

This is the landmark of Loviisa. The old main highway 7 almost runs through the church. If you like churches or visit Loviisa in any case definitely worth stopping by. Very typical church in Finland.

Very beautifull architectual experience. It is a landmark when arriving to Loviisa. Inside wiew makes you feel a small human being. Make your day and visit Loviisa church. Took a rest thru silence. Forget how important you are.

Hi! Church is quite old and made of red bricks.Inside is nice paintings on the roof and behind the altar. This church has been built 1863-1865 because first wooden church was burned-out. In summertimes this opens at 11 am.

A very pretty church with a big statue in the front. The church is famous for the but-marks on the benches when they got repainted. They unfortunately got repainted AGAIN after that..
