The exhibition shows clearly how the postal service evolved in time. Time and effort is spent to set-up the installation, nice to walk around and look at the different memorabilia. Well worth a quick visit while visiting other museums in the Vapriikki.

First this museum was located in Helsinki where it was closed in 2012. After that it was opened in Tampere in 2014. Now they have very nice collections here. You can see stamps (some very rare), old photos, old films, historical objects, scale models etc....More

Excellent exhibiton, that covers the history of the postal services from the early beginning. Lots of interactive stands for kids and everything is translated in English, Swedish and Russian. Worth of visit in Vapriikki museum, as all other exhibitions as well. Free admission on Friday...More
