I came here in search of these elves and never found them. Then I realized that the reviews were talking about a feeling, legend, or beliefs of elves- not hidden statues or figurines. The park is small but lovely.

I first found this little park by accident three or four years ago, and have returned each year. It is indeed an enchanted place (alas, I've heard a rumour that the elves are moving on; perhaps others will come and inhabit the wonderful space?). There are benches, rocks, and grassy spots in which to walk. I've been there in summer... More

Went to visit this park on a beautiful bright, crisp September afternoon & was very pleasantly surprised at what an enchanting and magical little park we found, with beautiful old trees and gorgeous flowers & moss-covered lava rock formations & walkways leading to secret Elf walks to hidden waterfalls & ponds. A magical, enchanted park that is beautiful for both... More

It is a beautiful park located in the heart of the city. It was a peaceful walk and there are many benches to sit on and just enjoy the moment. The lady that own the shop at the entrance of the park explained that this park held the largest elf community within a city as the elves usually prefer to... More

A perfect place to relax and enjoy nature. Sit in the grass or on a bench. Beautiful flowers and trees enhance the landscape of sharp lava rocks and caves.

We stumbled across the elf walk whilst passing through on the way to the lava hostel and were amazed at the effort that they had gone to to make the experience enjoyable. the park itself is also very nice to just sit and relax in the peace and calm.

We were hanging out one day scrolling through trip advisor when we ran across the reviews for this park. Reykjavik has numerous parks with walking and biking paths and we wanted to see some of them. This place is delightful. Full of paths and stairs and near exquisitely cool houses and lots of friendly and playful cats. We enjoyed our... More

We walked the park on our own, not a tour. It was such a nice peaceful walk and very pretty. The location was close to our hotel at the Viking village. If your walking about this is a perfect place to stop and take in the fresh air.
