It's a lovely place especially for a walk. During sunny days the view of the whole harbor is amazing and if you're lucky you'll also enjoy the sunset.

We enjoyed our walk around the harbour which is close to shops, restaurants and hotels. Our hotel was the T10 about a 25 minute walk away.

We explored Hafnarfjörður a couple of times and we loved the authenticity of the place and the views across the old harbour. This is a traditional Icelandic town with typical Icelandic buildings and attractions.
