I said I have to stop here as it sounded so strange. So on my first day after arrival at KEF I ventured out here. Not worth more than 5min but if you need something to do to kill time before checking into your hotel, worth a stop if in the area. Wish it was easier to take a better... More

We were staying at the hotel keflavic and had gone out to explore the town, we happened on this attraction by accident, it is tucked into the corner of the small harbour. I guess there are some sensors hidden away somewhere because as you approach, the sound of snoring starts followed shortly by an immense fart ! After having a... More

There's not really a lot to do in this town, so driving here was kind of neat. I really wouldn't recommend the museum, nice building but a rip

It is an odd little tourist attraction but so charming, the cave was inspired by a literary character created by an Icelandic children's writer. Definitely check it out!

We stumbled across this little deal when walking the shore of Keflavik. An interesting and charming presentation of an Icelandic children's story! Doesn't take a long time to read through about the story but it certainly adds to the area and experience of Icelandic culture. I particularly liked that the soundtrack included bodily noises - always funny.

Very interesting sleeping giant which is free to visit. If you're in the area, it's definitely worth a quick stop off.

We stumbled across the giantess while researching what was near our hotel before we left for Iceland and my two young children were ridiculously excited by the idea of this as was I if being honest. The placement is beautiful, right on a small marina over looking the beautiful turquoise water. As you walk up the pathway there are the... More

This was right outside the Hotel we stayed in so we had a stroll down when it was closed, we didn't go inside but we walked along the harbour to the door and heard her snoring - very cute.

We were told by the hotel staff that there is an attraction nearby that the kids may like, so we decided to walk to it from Park Inn. The town of Keflavik itself is a small, quaint, fishing village/town, and has a nice paved path along the ocean, which you can follow to get to a marina area and just... More

We were so impressed with Gigantic that we had to track down an English version of one of her books.
