We had 2 unbelievable dives with ants and it was just awesome. It was a totally different experience to dive in Silfra and it was so exiting to see this spot and dive in this clear water.

An awesome experience! Our guide, Fee, was super friendly, patient, informative. Was surprised about the lack of sea life but being between the plates was amazing. Definitely wear a couple pair of wool socks!

Absolutely loved this outing! Dive.is covers a few different tours, but I snorkeled the silfra ravine. I would have loved to dive it – and would recommend it over snorkeling – but I didn't have my dry suit certification. As it was, I still really, really...More

I went with a friend in June 2016, and we had a great time. It happened to be the warmest day of our trip so even the walk back to the drop off point was not that cold. The dry suits were a bit weird...More

Went snorkeling in Iceland. It was simply amazing. The visibility was unparalleled. Up to 100 meters. One of the most unique experiences anywhere - do not miss. The water is cold (2 C - 4 C) and you will wear a dry suit and be...More

I am not understanding too well if you have to be certified or not. My husband and I will be in Iceland this December and have snorkeled before but is the certification for scuba? I checked directly on the website and got even more confused jaja.

...for the snorkel you do have to complete a medical form. If the answer is yes to any of the questions, your physician may have to clear you. I.e. if you are on prescriptions meds, have heart troubles, etc... Just FYI...

If we purchase photos, can we pay in USD or solely in Krona? If in Krona, do you offer change or will exact amount be required.

I have to admit that I never even saw a krona the entire time we were in Iceland! Every place takes credit cards, even in small towns. The pictures are transferred electronically, so everything is online. Have fun!

Hi, we would be there in mid to late October 2017 and I would love to do this. I am getting my PADI certification - BUT, I have never dived in a Dry suit. On the website, one of the prerequisites is to have dived in a dry suit before which I have not! Is it mandatory? Can I dive here if I don't have prior Dry suit experience? Thanks in advance!
