Thermal pools are a must if you are staying in reykjavik - clean and very inviting the thermal pools are very relaxing. can get a little bit busy though

I would give them a call, they pretty trict about how to wash your body before you enter
How far are the outdoor pools from the dressing rooms? I'm concerned about being cold and wet when getting out of the pool,

Probably 20 meters. I did it in December and had no problems.
