Hopefully this will be much better when all the work is complete and the displays and explanation boards are in place. Views from the platform are great but hold on to your hat.

Don't know what this place will be when construction is complete. For now it just gives a nice panoramic photo op. Wouldn't choose to eat here.

We walked a long way to get to this venue but it's still under construction. So make sure it is open before you go there. You do have access to the top floor cafe where you have a 360 view of Reykjavik.

Great place for taking pictures of the city but watch out for the food which is sparse and heavily overpriced. The place was going through renovation and was very loud. No WiFi.

I would of rated this place higher but it was being refurbished when I went so there was nothing really inside but this can't be helped, lovely walk up to it & the views are amazing

At the moment the building is a construction site. There is nothing at all to see on the ground floor and the lifts aren't working which means that there is no disabled access to the 4th floor cafeteria, toilets and viewing platform. If you can...More

Well worth a visit, dependent on a clear day. Views stunning. About a 30 - 45 minute walk from city centre.

Another interesting place to visit. Restaurant was nicely appointed with access to the upper observation deck. Very clean and interesting building.

The viewing platform is open but wear sensible outdoor shoes while walking around taking in the wonderful views - the floor can be a bit icy during colder weather. I noticed when we took our school group up in November, flat... More

Yes, you can go to the viewing deck without eating. The actual restaurant is 1 floor above the viewing deck. It is free to go to the viewing deck.
