There are tons of free publications and maps available here on the various regions and attractions in Iceland. They can also change currency and book hotels and tours at no charge. There is a place to sit down and catch a rest or use the free wi-fi. Very helpful. Several other locations in Reykjavik as well.

We asked for a tour of the South of the island and particularly requested that it shouldn't be a big coach tour. We were assured this would be a smaller mini-bus type tour, but when we were picked up found that we had indeed been booked onto a big coach tour!

Cheaper to book on-line! I mentioned the price of the hop-on hop-off bus was cheaper on line....not matched!

A good resource for someone trying to fathom out how to plan a short break that will be scheduled largely by the weather.

You should really drop in and visit. The people there are very friendly and helpful. They are willing to tell you where to eat, what to eat, where to visit, what not to miss etc. If you have no clue as to what to do, do ask them. I am so pleased with their help. Kudos to them. Thank you... More

Useful for leaflet pick ups, organised tours, advice or just a map. There are several around Reykjavik - always comfy, you might even be able to grab a seat and a water for a quick rest. English speaking, very friendly - worth a visit to find out whats what.

We walked down town and eventually made our way to a beautiful shore that has some sculptures and great photo opportunities. lots of geese and ducks to feed and of course the visitors center. A great place to start your visit if you plan on being in town a few days.
